Two ownership paths

A future that fits your goals.

Partner buy-in

Practice together. Explore partnership.

For veterinarians who would like to join Pine and explore buying into the practice over the next few years. Get to know the medicine, team, and operations while discussing a potential ownership path with Dr. Steve.

Full acquisition

Explore full ownership of Pine.

For individual veterinarians or independently owned groups of veterinarians interested in acquiring and preserving Pine as an independent veterinary practice. Corporate or private-equity-backed buyers are excluded, including groups represented by veterinarians. Such outreach is unwanted and will not be considered.

Ownership structure, valuation, financing, responsibilities, and timing will be discussed individually. An initial conversation creates no obligation to buy, sell, or become partners.

The goal: a four-doctor practice.

Dr. Steve is open to bringing on partners or exploring a full sale of Pine Animal Hospital. The long-term goal is a total of four doctors in clinical practice, supported by the team and standards that make Pine distinctive.

Seven-day service is also a goal. Staffing, ownership roles, and the transition plan will be developed through discussion.

The practice you would help shape

Strong support. Thoughtful medicine.

A team around the doctor

Our support staff take ownership of the work surrounding patient care, giving veterinarians room to focus on clinical decisions, medicine, and medical and surgical procedures.

The tools to do good work

In-house laboratory testing, digital and dental radiography, point-of-care ultrasound, and clinical collaboration support our small animal general practice and urgent care.

Values worth carrying forward

Ethical recommendations, clear reasoning, client partnership, and professional judgment guide our care. Integrative options belong where they are clinically appropriate and evidence-aware.

Start with the fit

A conversation before a transaction.

1. Tell us your goals. Share your clinical interests, ownership path, and approximate timing.

2. Meet Dr. Steve and the team. Discuss the practice and, when appropriate, arrange a visit to see the workday.

3. Explore the details privately. If there is mutual interest, review the business, valuation, structure, and transition with appropriate advisers.
